• Photos you take or upload for plant identification — images are processed on-device or discarded immediately after identification

3. How the App Works Without Collecting Data

PlantScan uses on-device processing and anonymous, stateless API requests to deliver plant identification results. No image, scan result, or session data is ever linked to you as an individual or retained on our servers. Any plant collection or personal notes you save within the app are stored exclusively on your own device and are never transmitted to us.

4. No Data Sharing or Sale

Because we do not collect any personal information, we have nothing to share, sell, or disclose to third parties. We do not work with advertising networks, data brokers, or analytics providers that would receive information about you. We will never sell your data — not now, not in the future.

5. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

PlantScan offers an optional Premium subscription managed entirely through Apple's App Store. All payment processing is handled exclusively by Apple. We never see, receive, or store your payment details, credit card information, or billing address. For questions about billing, please refer to Apple's own privacy policy and terms of service.

6. Children's Privacy

PlantScan does not collect personal information from any user, including children. Our app is safe for users of all ages. We fully comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and equivalent regulations worldwide.

7. Third-Party Services

PlantScan does not integrate any third-party advertising SDKs, social media trackers, or analytics platforms that collect personal data. The app may contain links to external websites for informational purposes only. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those external sites and encourage you to review their policies independently.

8. Your Rights
